2019 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid Trim Level Comparison
The four trim levels for the 2019 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid in Canada are the Essential, the Preferred, the Luxury, and the Ultimate. The Essential is your most basic trim level, with the lowest starting MSRP. As they go up in starting MSRP, they gain more features that may intrigue you. Stay with us for a 2019 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid trim level comparison.
All four of the trim levels have a standard 6-speed EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission, Front-wheel drive (FWD), a 1.6 GDI Atkinson Cycle DOHC 16-valve Inline 4-cylinder engine, and the same horsepower and torque. In performance, they are identical, but they vary in design and technology features. Look at the chart below for some examples of how they differ.

As you can see in the chart above, the Luxury and the Ultimate trim levels have a lot of the same features, especially in terms of design. However, the Ultimate has some features that even the Luxury lacks. For example, it is the only trim level with standard High Beam Assist, Bi-Xenon HID headlights with Adaptive Cornering System (ACS), a touch screen navigation system that is eight inches, eight speakers for its AM/FM/XM/MP3 Infinity ® premium audio system, and Driver’s Inegrated Memory System (IMS) for seat and mirror positions. The IMS stores information about the driver’s preferences, like how they angle their mirrors and seat. That way, you can select your driver profile, and everything will adjust back to your liking. This feature works wonders with a shared vehicle.
