Unveiled earlier this year at the New York International Auto Show, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson will soon arrive at dealerships. So, let's revisit all the improvements made to this model for the new year.

Let's start with the price, as it's one of the few things that wasn't revealed during its official presentation. As you might expect, there are price increases, especially for the hybrid versions. But first, let's take a look at the changes made to the exterior and interior of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson.

Enhanced Styling

Typically, Hyundai takes pleasure in following different design directions. Interestingly, this is not the case for the new 2025 Tucson. The Korean manufacturer has opted for a more popular approach, with downward-facing "fish whiskers." Well, it might remind you of something else, but to me, it clearly resembles a catfish, and it's far from being the only model using this aesthetic element. Who knows, maybe Hyundai wanted to offer something more standard here. However, this isn't a criticism—quite the opposite, as I find it aesthetically pleasing. As for the rest of the body, the changes are rather subtle, but the very angular shapes of the Hyundai Tucson remain prominent.

The most radical change is in the interior. Indeed, the Korean manufacturer's SUV features a dashboard and a multimedia system combined into a single screen. Ironically, I must admit that this disappoints me a bit, as this new aesthetic trend is very linear and boring. I would have preferred something a bit more daring. Nevertheless, the interior of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson remains very comfortable and user-friendly. The Korean manufacturer even added several USB-C ports, which will surely please the new generation.

Three Engines and Three Prices

Here we are, it's time for some sticker shock. Well, it all depends on the version you choose. The regular model comes with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 187 horsepower. This version has a starting price of $37,181 for the Preferred trim. There isn't much change here, as we're talking about a price increase of only $300. As for the sporty N version, the power of the small 1.6-liter turbocharged engine has been increased from 226 to 231 horsepower. However, its base price is now $45,871. Finally, if you opt for the plug-in hybrid version, the starting price will be $49,871. Here too, the power has been increased from 261 to 268 horsepower. Despite the price increases, the Korean manufacturer's compact SUV remains very appealing and will certainly be among the most popular models in its category in 2025.
